Starters: Chilled Tiger nut milk. This can be served with dates or peanuts. The great thing about this drink is that it can be laced or diced with anything you want. Even a drop of Apio or distilled palm wine koraa is cool.

The mouth-watering “side issue” is baked prawns with coriander leaves, ginger and garlic paste with a hint of lemon.

Main course 1 :

1. Fried plantain, scrimps, avocado and beans

Main Course 2:  Apem (plantain) and Komtomire AKA “Battle of Nsamankow”

Apparently, this was a treat for Asante soldiers after defeating British forces in 1824.

Main Course 3: Red Red. Deep-fried plantain with specially spiced black-eyed beans.

Why it’s called Red Red, I don’t know. Please leave a message if you know.

I heard someone call it  “Do or Die”

Sobolo!  Chilled drink for post-lunch chit chat  Hibiscus with medicinal properties. Power to the People✌️

Meanwhile, in a Chop Bar, nearby

Ahbaa! “You alone like food?!” 😳😂
